“Breast Cancer will not be a Taboo anymore”.
Pinktober manifested a sense of awareness for masses on one of the most stigmatized and mortal cancer in human race. Statistics warrant a large scale effective and grass-root measures in terms of awareness, screening and treatment. Keeping in view, IMPACT Foundation Pakistan was honoured to invite Prof Dr. Kinza Alam, Head of Department Obs & Gynae Dr.Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital & Islamabad Medical & Dental College – IMDC to raise awareness by teaching Breast Self-Examination to the students at Millennium College I-9/3, Islamabad. Our efforts aimed in inseminating knowledge to the ambassadors of change, our students which will forward this message of fighting Breast Cancer to the society.
